Terms

1. Booking request. Choose a departure, your cabins and your guests, and send the request. Sending it does not charge you.
2. Confirmation. We check space on the boat and reply by email within 7 days, holding your places meanwhile. If the space is no longer available, we tell you.
3. Payment. When your request is accepted we email you a payment request. Payment is by bank transfer: pay, then upload your payment slip from the link in that email. A request that is not paid within 7 days may be cancelled. We verify each payment, and your booking is confirmed once your 25% deposit, or the full payment, has arrived. If less arrives because banks took charges on the way, we tell you the difference, to pay by bank transfer or on board. We request the balance the same way: it is due 15 days before arrival.
4. Guest forms. Once your booking is confirmed, every guest completes a guest registration form and says whether they are diving. The diver medical questionnaire is optional for now: we may ask a diver for it, and some answers need a physician’s approval before diving.

Deposits, when the balance is due, last-minute bookings, cancellation charges and refunds are set out in the Refund and Payment Policy Details, which you accept when you book. As the policy says: all cancellations must be sent by email to trips.maldives@icloud.com, and by completing payment you agree to these terms.

On dive trips, insurance is mandatory for every diver: dive insurance that covers emergency evacuation and hyperbaric chamber treatment, and travel and medical insurance. Bring the documents with you; the guest registration form asks for your policy details. On trips without diving, travel and medical insurance is strongly recommended.
