Mr. Shahid has been a pioneer of this industry for 28 years, since 1998, offering liveaboards built around the guest rather than the schedule.
He started as an airport representative. Through hard work and learning every rope in the business, he became a leading figure in an industry that promotes the Maldives and its oceans, above the water and below it.
